2009 In Retrospect – Everything I’ve Been Up To

As the end of the year dawns upon me, I’ve found that it is always good to look back and give thanks for everything that has happened in the last year.

2009 has been my biggest breakthrough in my entire life. It seemed that I’ve accomplish more on my 3oth birth year than everything I’ve done in my entire life.

So what are they? Here goes…

Product Launch Mania!

2009 is a superb breakthrough year for my career as I’ve done 3 large scale launches and I’ve released over 200 products in 3 major product lines. I’ve now got products in Internet marketing niches, network marketing niches, home business niches and personal development niches.

The launch of MLM Franchising

Due to the success of my first launch last year (MLM Fire Sale – November 2009), converting the products into an entire MLM franchise and help others to make money through the same system.

I never through that MLM Fire Sale would be a huge success and through the launch of our franchise, we’ve raked in $16,000 (USD) over 48 hours!

The launch of Fusionology

Taking it up a notch, attacking the home business market (a very wide and competitive market) was next on my list. Fusionology was launched in May 2009 and with critical acclaim.

Raking in over $25,000 during the first 7 days was just the beginning. The membership site is still going strong after 8 months hence making the launch worthwhile due to the recurring income.

The launch of Inspiration DNA

My last major launch… Inspiration DNA. I really was ‘thinking big’ on this one…

Over 50 E-books, 50 articles, 50 videos, 50 audios and training materials, I have to play it big if I want to differentiate myself in the personal development and self-improvement niche.

Initially, I was really scared… after all, the personal development and self-improvement market was one of the most competitive markets in the known world! People will only buy from you if you have got the credibility… and the investment was really staggering.

I even fell sick for 3 weeks prior to my launch… knowing that a small mistake could create catastrophic results for my business! But somehow, God gave me the strength to pull through and in just 3 days alone, I made $15,000. And my membership site is still going strong. I even received a powerful testimonial from a famous Internet marketing guru…

Speaking in an Internet Marketing Seminar

My business partner – Jaz Lai has given me a lot of opportunities to expand my circle of influence.

One of it being the income list booster seminar where I’ve spoken to over 150 students over the year. I’ve spoken on many topics such as product creation, copywriting, branding and writing E-books.

It’s my first time speaking in public but somehow, speaking on stage seemed to come naturally to me.

The profits from selling in a seminar is also very lucrative. I’ve made more than $16,000 selling my product creation services.

It was a very good experience and stepping stone. But one of the best things I’ve gotten out of it was meeting Pearlin Seow…

Being Featured In A Physical Book

Pearlin interviewed me  in her book called Secrets of Asia’s most successful Internet gurus. I’m so glad I met her.

She needed one more candidate for the copywriting section, and after generating over 6 figures with my own sales letters, she figured that I’m suitable to be in her book.

It’s also a huge milestone for me, to appear in a physical publication (with the last one last year being Personal Money…)

Attending Many Personal Development Courses

A wise man once said that a man who has a cup that is full can never learn new things.

At one point in my life, I must admit that it was very hard for me to learn anything new because of my accomplishments. But I knew that that was not the way to go.

The moment you stop learning anything new is the day your mind will start to atrophied. So I had to empty my cup and learn from the masters…

T. Harv Eker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive (MMI)

If there’s ONE thing that I can take away from the MMI, it would be the ‘jar system’.

Do not be deceived by the simplistic nature of these jars. One of the techniques taught by the millionaire master himself is that if you are able to split and divide your money properly, you will be on the pathway towards becoming a millionaire.

I’m glad that I was able to implement these jars consistently for the next 8 months. I’m still using the jar system today and it has helped me to manage my finances wisely.

Asia Works

Asia Works is one of the most challenging and the most rewarding journeys of my life.

This journey lasted 5 months and some of the biggest things I’ve gotten from the training are the ability to think with greater clarity and focus, a better understanding of my fixed beliefs, fixed emotions and a way to overcome my limitations.

It takes a very tough mind and strong emotions to complete the trainings. I’ve faced many breakdowns and breakthroughs. But at the end of the day, I was able to align my life towards my true calling and be in touch with my inner child.

Orange Roshan’s SRDC Boot Camp (FOREX)

Last but not least is the Orange Roshan SRDC boot camp. I never imagined that I would one day learn about foreign exchange. But I’ve learned that the techniques towards generating profit in FOREX is a simple step by step process of following the rules.

You don’t need rocket science or a crystal ball to predict when you can get your next ‘win’. All you need to do is to follow the system step by step and you can double or triple your account after a period of time.

After looking back at 2009, I cannot imagine what it would be like to face 2010. I’m well aware of the height of the bar I’ve set for myself. It’s going to be a challenge to top 2009 but I’m very sure that 2010 is going to be legendary…
