Resell Rights E-course - PART 3
Resell Rights - The Production Phase
Mission - Today’s briefing is about one of the most necessary ingredients for creating resell rights products and how you can maximize your profits.

What are the key ingredients for resell rights products?
In the last part of our e-course, we had covered the various resell rights methods you can use to make your profits. There are many different types of resell rights products you can produce for your subscribers to resell - e-books, audio interviews, video tutorials, even software…
But in today’s e-course, we will focus more on e-books or special reports. Basically, stuff that you can put into writing.
Why writing? Because it is one of the easiest and cost-effective format you can use to build your resell rights empire. You can literally create products out of thin air. You could be waiting for a bus or riding on a train and all you need is a laptop with Microsoft Word installed, and you are all set and ready to go. Furthermore, you can embed your affiliate links into your e-book strategically or place solo ads easily into your e-book or special report (it is much easier and more straight forward to accomplish with written material compared to audio or video).
Don’t worry if you can’t or hate to write - I will share with you how to tackle this task shortly.
The first step to getting started is to have a very clear idea WHO your TARGET MARKET is. Not all resell rights products are suitable for resellers. Most of the time, resellers will go for the ‘MAKE MONEY ONLINE‘ niche - basically, products targeted at the Internet marketing crowd.
NEVER forget the two most important things when you are looking for a niche market:
- The DEMAND for the product
- The ABILITY TO PAY for it
When you write your own product, always break down your book into small parts. It is much easier to tackle your project chunk by chunk - in other words, don’t try to tackle the whole project at once! When you break down your e-book into parts, it is easier to get things done and each time you complete a chunk, you will feel very motivated.
Your e-books can be broken down into articles. Write your e-book article by article. Use a table of contents to write out your entire article outline - from the introduction all the way down to the summary or the conclusion. In fact, if you are good at blogging, you can even combine all your blog posts together and form your own special report - you are essentially killing two birds with one stone!
Now here are some ideas on how you can source for your own content. Join free membership sites (or paid ones if you can afford it - the products are more exclusive) that gives you free products with Private Label Rights (PLR). With Private Label Rights, you can claim authorship to the book and use the content AS THOUGH YOU WROTE IT. Or to put it in Layman terms, we can call it LEGALIZED PLAGARISM (I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but you have the RIGHTS to ‘plagiarize’ the content).
An example of a good membership site is Edmund Loh’s Resell Rights Mastery where you can get a loads to PLR products.
Of course, you must make sure you edit at least 50% of the content or else the product will look the same.
If you can’t write, then it will be a good idea to OUTSOURCE to ghostwriters.
If you ask a ghostwriter to rewrite a book with content provided for them (for example giving them PLR content to rewrite) rather than getting the ghostwriter to write from scratch, you will be able save more money.
Place your solo ads either at the back of the e-book or right after the table of contents to promote your websites or affiliate programs.
You can also write ‘recommended resources’ paragraphs at the end of relevant chapters in your e-book to strategically position your affiliate links.
Convert your e-book or special report into PDF format so that your readers will not be able to copy your work or change your ads and affiliate links.
If you can, try and write a sales letter along with the book. It will help your resellers to sell your book easily and it will compel them to buy your resell rights products or package.
And lastly, don’t forget to list the TERMS AND CONDITIONS for your resellers such as how much they are allowed to sell the product for or whether their customers can resell the product or not.
Summary
- Find your target market.
- Write the table of contents for your e-book or special report.
- Write article by article and compile them together.
- Insert your affiliate links and solo ads.
- State the terms and conditions.
- If you can, write a sales letter to go with the package.
