Return From WIS Malaysia

I just returned from the World Internet Summit in Malaysia.

I only attended the seminar on the first day of the seminar because I wanted to see my good friend, Vince Tan in action as a WIS speaker.

As you all probably know, I’m a big fan of Vince (simply because he has made me tons on $$$ over the year and he has single handedly helped me to fund my wedding. Pretty soon, he will help me to fund my honeymoon as well! Hehe!)

I went there with a few of my marketing friends - Matt Ng, Dennis Sim, Alfred Ko (Peng Joon couldn’t make it for personal reasons) and ran into others during the summit including Vince’s girlfriend, June and his top secret genius programmer.

He spoke on the WIS stage for the very first time and it was a record breaking achievement because he has been in Internet marketing for less than 12 months. His first exposure to Internet marketing was at the WIS Malaysia exactly one year ago.

The funny thing is, he related to us (the audience) about what he told Brett McFall after the seminar last year - that he wants to speak on stage the very next year! (Talk about the Law Of Attraction!) Now if I were Brett, even I would probably be skeptical and would go something like, “Yeah… uh huh… suuuure…” With a tone of disbelief (as quoted by Vince on stage).

Some of the highlights of his speech was when he talked about his Paypal issues during the SendUsTo.Us Fire Sale launch. He told the audience that he called paypal everyday for 30 days, spoke to 30 different customer service personnel explaining the problems over and over again, and was panicky until three days before flying to U.S. (thankfully it was resolved otherwise it would be a huge embarassment for the three musketeers if they fly to U.S. without paying any of the affiliates).

The package that he offered to the audience was awesome as the customers we getting a no brainer offer - product creation, blog setup, niche site setup, product site setup, training, tons of resell rights products and TRAFFIC to boot!

I can be sure that his team of SEO guys, writers and graphic designers will be working overtime to serve his customers as the response was nothing less than remarkable.

Some of those lucky customers probably have no clue what tremendous value they were getting from his package (I pity those who couldn’t or didn’t invest).

At the end of the day, we drove home completely exhausted because the event was far too early in the morning (one of the problems of being a home based Internet marketer - our clocks are tuned to U.S. time)
