The Story Of The 200 Who Stood Against 1 MILLION

PREPARE FOR GLORY!!!

It was the ultimate showdown of The battle of the PLRGold5 Affiliates!

Khai - the king of Premium E-products (PEPs) was getting ready for an ALL OUT WAR against the mighty war machine…

Facing a near impossible task of competing against’s Kings with THOUSANDS of subscribers is a daunting & frightful task.

Khai Picked 200 Of His Best Warriors

The battle on the 3rd of September was coming soon. Armed with only a handful of 200 SUBSCRIBERS, Khai was unconfident with the idea of pitting his small handful of newly opted-in subscribers against seasoned Internet marketers who are armed with years of experience and their THOUSANDS of loyal subscribers at their disposal.

To make things worse, not only was the problem of man-power shortage painful enough, Khai was low on resources and experience credibility wise. Khai was thinking to himself, “There is no way I can out sell the other affiliates who were about to throw in (effortlessly) hundreds of bonuses (membership access to their membership sites, hundreds of other PLR products and even VIDEO TUTORIALS to boot!) - HOW ON EARTH AM I GOING TO SURVIVE AGAINST THE BONUS WARS?

His Pleas For Alliances Fell On Deaf Ears

Staring straight into at the face of total annihilation, Khai - unconfident and fearful, sought for help of other smaller marketers hoping to band together against the massive juggernaut. Being low on resources with only a bunch of PLR products on his hard drive & his bare hands (or writing skills)… he sought out list owners with 5,000 to 10,000 subscribers hoping to combine bonuses and total sales together.

Khai’s efforts were in vain.

Many other list owners were fearful of their own performance - many didn’t promote PLRGold5 all the way for their own reasons and were content with 1 or 2 sales. Khai thought to himself, “If marketers with 10,000 list were unconfident of making sales, what are the chances of my 200 making ANY?

Defeated and discouraged, Khai went back to the drawing board to strategize with his 200.

Out of desperation, Khai sought the ORACLE (Edmund) of PLR for advice. With very few subscribers, lack of bonuses and being relatively new in the market, what are my chances of scoring a single sale? I requested for a sales copy from Edmund. A sales copy that I would spend the next 7 hours editing in a vain attempt to ’sell’ my services, boost my credibility and score a few sales.

That fateful day arrived.

Khai and his band of loyal subscribers, far from home and not looking back, marched towards the PLR summit where 500 other JV partners and their thousands of subscribers gathered, ready for battle. The traffic was shocking - Khai was pitted against close to a MILLION other subscribers, watching, waiting…

8.00AM Eastern time!

WHAM! The gates were opened. Hundreds of marketers sat at their computers pressing the broadcast button all at the same time! The millions of subscribers were given the signal and rushed to the top of the PLR summit.

And suddenly, the server crashed (millions of traffic fried the server 2 minutes after the launch)!

Sales that were supposed to be processed within the first few minutes screeched to a grinding halt.

Khai was at a loss! He pulled his hair in frustration fearful not only of making zero sales, but the fact that his angry subscribers would turn against him when they couldn’t even go to the site!

The battle resumed when the site went back up and within a few hours, Khai got his first sale.

A Consolation prize? Maybe. But at the same time, the thought of giving out bonuses to only ONE buyer is very scary. Against better judgement, Khai fought on and sent his 2nd E-mail to his subscribers…

2 days later, the 2nd and 3rd sale came in. Khai was relieved, and thought, “That is as far as I can go”.

Khai Was Facing A Losing Battle…

The TOP 10 positions were packed with ferocious marketers.

Khai thought that he was too far behind until Edmund told Khai, that judging from the performance, Khai has a shot of getting into the top 10. (Khai thought to himself that what Edmund said was very encouraging but at the same time absurd because how on earth can 200 win the battle against the 1 million?)

The 3rd day was over.

No sales.

The 4th and 5th day flew by.

Not a single sale at all - and new competitors were moving up to seize the top ten locations!

TONIGHT, WE DINE… IN HELL!!!

Khai thought his days were numbered and waited with little hope even as Edmund sent for REINFORCEMENTS by displaying all the JV partner’s bonuses on the 6th day.

The battle was almost over when SUDDENLY a miracle happened!

Last minute buyers were rushing to buy PLRGold5 at final day!

Traffic funneled towards the bottle-neck bonus page clashed head on with Khai’s Massive Bonuses!

What started out as a hopeless battle suddenly produced tremendous results. Khai started the battle hoping to get lucky enough to make 1 or 2 sales - the next thing you know - Khai made it to the TOP 10.

A Glorious Battle

Size isn’t everything. As long as you do a proper pre-launch, build a targeted list, offer attractive bonuses and write a good sales copy, you can perform as good as other marketers with a list of thousands. Khai’s efforts even put him on par in the contest with other marketers like Ben Shaffer, Ian del Carmen, Xavier Nelson, Dylan Loh, Rosie Cottis, Mike Merz, Jim Miller, Kevin Riley, Eva Browne-Patterson, Barry Richardson, Richard Wing, Aurelius Tjin, Melvin Ng, Jason James, Bob Bastian, Gobala Krishnan, Steve Johns, Stanley Tang, David Congreave, Frank Bauer, Paul Kleinmaulman, Kenny Tan, Joseph Then, Doug Champigny, Michael Rasmussen, William Quek, Mike Paetzold, Larry Dotson, Carl Galleti, Matt Garrett, Jason Dinner, Stuart Tan, Shinichi Sasaki, Ai Yee Ooi, Matt Ng, Dee Ferdinand, Dennis Sim, Alfred Ko and many others.

(Thank you, everyone - for allowing me to have a fighting chance ;) )

Thanks, Edmund… for awarding me the Underdog Achiever award.

Lesson Learned:

Never underestimate yourself - even if you are low on mojo. Think big, and you can achieve greatness!

Congratulation to you khai for being able to get to the top ten at the very last minute. Wonder what would happened if you were able to make sales from day 1 until the end?..

    Hi Rammel,

Thanks. If I really did make sales everyday, I think it would be too good to be true. High ticket affiliate marketing is usually very competitive…
